My yoga journey started in this very studio 10 years ago. I quickly discovered a deep passion for yoga and began fervently studying with many wonderful teachers across Cape Cod. I loved how I could incorporate yoga into my daily life. I have found yoga to be one of the most powerful ways to develop and maintain physical awareness of the body. An awareness I could bridge into other activities that I enjoy such as cycling, skiing, hiking and running. I noticed how mindfulness and breathing accompany me in my many walks along the beach while collecting sea glass. While searching for a way to deepen my own practice, I experienced an overwhelming desire to share the many benefits of yoga with others. In 2016, I decided to attend Kind Yoga School to become a yoga teacher. I received my 200 hour certification in 2017 and I continue to broaden my knowledge by working towards a goal to become a 500 hour CYT. My approach to yoga is kind and gentle, offering some heat with flowing sequences while giving attention to alignments. Just Breathe Yoga honors students of all levels and experience, encouraging yogis to move at their own perfect pace and to always remember to Just Breathe.
